  • Ingredients:
  • - 1 cup of rolled oats
  • - 3 cups of water
  • - 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • - 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • Method:
  • - Rinse and drain 1 cup of oats.
  • - Place oats into a bowl and cover with water. Soak for around 20 minutes. You can soak longer (even overnight) if desired.
  • - After soaking, rinse and drain very well.
  • - Blend oats and 3 cups water on a low speed, increasing it gradually. Blend on highest speed for 10 seconds.
  • - Pour blended mixture through cloth into a large bowl.
  • - With a spoon, gently push down on oat meat, so the remaining milk goes into the bowl.
  • - Scoop the oat meat into a small bowl and set aside. Clean out your blender and cloth until no residue remains.
  • - Place cloth over the top of the blender and pour the milk through again.
  • - Rinse bowl and cloth. Strain the milk through the cloth into the bowl.
  • - Whisk in maple syrup, vanilla and cinnamon.
  • - Wash cloth one last time and strain milk into blender then pour into a container.
  • - Store in fridge for 4-5 days in a sealed container.

  • Warning: This milk will separate but a good shake will bring it back to normal.
